About Us

The Jyväskylä Parish is the largest parish in the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Church, with almost one hundred thousand members. The Senior Pastor of the parish is Pastor Arto Viitala.

The parish consists of 11 regional churches:

• Town church of Jyväskylä
• Vaajakoski

The main church of the whole parish is Taulumäki church.

We are a warm and friendly community who welcomes everyone, and we offer many kinds of activities to people who seek connection with other people and God.
