Families with Children

Each of our local parish has activities for children and their families. The main language used in the activities is Finnish, but you can get language support in English and most of the Finns do speak English. Each program is Christian which means there will be Christian elements and a short devotion during the program.

You can ask for help in finding your local activities and we can even join you in the first time. 

Basic groups and activities for children and their families are: 

Päiväkerho - "Day Club"

• signing in is needed, but you can do it also during the season
• age groups usually 2 year olds and 3-5 year olds
• free of charge

Perhekerho - "Family Club"

• activities for both children and their parents / grandparents
• you can join with as many family members as you wish
• no signing in, just pop in
• free of charge, sometimes voluntary payment for snacks

Leirit ja retket - "Camps and excursions"

• for different age groups of Children
• Family Camps
• Day Camps, Weekend camps... etc.
• Signing in latest three weeks before the event
• Fees: Vary in average between 5 to 50 euros / person
