Christian Fellowship Group @ JYU meets about every two weeks on Tuesday 4:15 PM.

Place:
Paja (building I) is the smaller brick building close to Seminarium and Ryhtilä buildings.
English name for the place is "Old Forge".

The group is ecumenical, which means that we focus on what we share in common in christian hope and faith, even though we come from different backgrounds, different cultures, churches and parts of the world. So far the group has joined together in conversation lutheran, catholic, orthodox and pentacostal christians from Europe, South America, Africa, Australia and Asia.

The sessions have typically consisted of
- simple prayer songs
- a gospel reading
- short quiet meditation
- sharing thoughts
- Lord's Prayer in languages present

We value and hold on to respectful behavior towards every member and visitor in the group even when we might not agree on some views on religion, politics or personal life choices.
